Flower / Fruit: Dark, rosy pink; four showy bracts, yellowish green center clusters; blooms March to April; red clusters of drupes 1/2" Soil: Well drained, moist, fertile, humus rich, slightly acidic soil with adequate lime to supply calcium and magnesium for optimal growth
Foliage: Opposite, simple ovate to oval shape; medium green leaves turn red to purple in Fall Light: Full sun to light shade; full sun with irrigation
Bark:  Smooth, stems reddish color when young; older bark becomes dark brownish gray Pruning: Minimal; low limb removal; rootstock sucker removal
