Form / Shape: Upright, symmetrical, dense, pyramidal Drought Tolerance: Low to moderate
Flower / Fruit: Male cones- yellowish brown; Female cones- green to brown Soil: Moist, well drained, sandy clay; adapts to many types
Foliage: Spiral on stem, needle-like, dark green when well fertilized Light: Full to partial shade; best in Full Sun
Bark:  Green- young; redish gray brown when mature; old bark hands in strips Pruning: Not needed; heavy pruning in early spring
  Uses: Specimen, large tall screen or hedge
